Coconut’s Bar & Grill (Open around 10am until sundown)
Location: Windward side of the island (East) between Chen Rio and Punta Morena
Website: www.islacozumel.net/food/coconuts/
Coconut’s sits high on Cozumel's only cliff. It is on the windward side of the island that the locals call the "other side," and the view is spectacular. Jimmy Buffet tunes play in the background here, while lively crowds drink cervezas. The scene is even more peaceful if you choose a palapa-shaded table on the rocks overlooking the water. The owners are very eco-conscious and have kept all the swaying palms in place. Parking is along the road. Enjoy great rum punch and a live band every day from 2pm-3pm. Menu items include fresh lobster and garlic shrimp.

La Lobsteria (Daily Noon-11pm)

Some nights they have soft, live music, and you can always eat by candlelight under the palapa covered roof or on the terrace. Lobster tails sit on ice by the bar with the prices marked on them. Choose the tail you want, and they'll cook it for you. The portions are good-sized, and the quality and preparation will be to your liking. Your hosts are the owners Guillermo and Claudette, who know Caribbean cuisine!

Bring your appetite!  Chilangos is a guilty pleasure of veteran Cozumel vacationers. This family-owned business has been around for many years and is one of the few places on the island where you can find yummy huaraches (wah-rah-ches) - a handmade tortilla filled with a touch of refried beans, lettuce, delicious cheese, and your choice of freshly prepared toppings such as chicken, beef, pork, mashed potatoes, and even cactus! We recommend you ask for some whole cream drizzled on top to seal the deal! They also serve quesadillas with the same toppings. To drink - jamaica, rice milk, sodas, and beer.
